Mr. Perry received his bachelor of science degree from the United States Military Academy and a Masters of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School. He also has a Master of Science in Systems Management from The University of Southern California.
He serves as a member of the Executive Leadership Council, an organization of senior African American executives in the U.S., as well as on the Board of Advisors of the Association of Graduates of the United States Military Academy, where he is chairman of the Diversity Leadership Council. He is also a member of the Board of Governors of the West Point Society of New York.
Mr. Perry has a long business career as a general manager in technology and financial services companies. Mr. Perry has held several positions with AT&T, Lucent Technologies, CIGNA Group Insurance, and IBM.
