Athlete, FBI agent, Grant County sheriff, teacher, coach, Grambling State University graduate, Ball State University graduate. Mr. Archey has served students as a teacher, coach, and counselor for Marion Community Schools. Mr. Archey is Indiana’s first elected African American sheriff, and he has provided security expertise for FBI headquarters, Super Bowls, World Cup Soccer, Olympics, and served as a security liaison official with the Drug Enforcement Administration, State Department and White House. Mr. Archey is a pioneer as an African American who has broken down several barriers, including as a coach, teacher, counselor, and sheriff.
